My 4 Step Painting Process
At your first session you will be introduced to my 4 step process.
- Tone
- Blocking
- Texture
- Detail
Create a quick tonal sketch.
Block in the large areas of colour.
Mapping the Texture will losse, gestural brush strokes.
Once the Texture Mapping is complete we have a well deserved break and get ready to change gears into "Detail Mode".
Detail is where the untrained artist will start, but it is actually the last thing we want to do.
