About this session
This gorgeous Monet was presented to me on a chocolate box given to me by a friend on a recent birthday. Thank you Wendy!
The impressionists are the most reproduced period of art, no contest. You will see them on umbrellas, postcards, diaries and... chocolate boxes!
At the Adelaide exhibition 2018: " Colours of Impressionism " - an exhibition from the Musee D'Orsay.
Thanks to Wendy for this picture!
What will we learn in this session?
- Monet Brush Techniques
- Chromaticism
- Atmospheric Perspective
- Impressionist Style
In our preparatory sketches we find the perspective lines. Monet has marked them very clearly for us in the fields, along the rooftops and even in the clouds.
This is a sketch painting I did in about 2 minutes using one round brush.
At the beginning of Stage 3: Texture mapping.
Finished!
