Between June 4th-7th, 2008 I performed at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre in the world premiere of Jeff Galea's Opera "Wounding Song".
Guitar fans would find the work of interest because the Opera features guitar as the central instrument in the orchestra! This is possibly a world first for an opera. In the hands of capable composers like Jeff Galea the guitar has a bright future!

Wave by Antonio Carlos Jobim,
arranged for classical guitar by Peter Inglis.
This was an informal solo performance (hence the casual dress) in an inner city suburb of Sydney, April 2004. Hopefully you will enjoy the mixture of styles - with elements of jazz, latin, classical and rock guitar techniques and sounds. Note: In the middle of the clip I overlaid a 30 second visual promo for my book "Guitar Playing and how it Works": www.thewholeguitarist.com, to cover the "roaming eye" of the cameraman, as he was temporarily distracted by some of the nightspot's more delightful patrons!
Released in 2005 on CD as part of my Jazz Suite for classical guitar "Late Night Lovers".
