Anybody can play guitar well

Anybody can develop guitar performance skills to a high standard.

Patience, persistence, knowledge and desire are the keys. With "Guitar Playing and how it Works" I hope to facilitate constructive dialogues between the student and their teachers, with other students, their bodies, minds, their musical culture and with the guitar. The emphasis in this book is on performing music with the guitar.

The bulk of western music is written to be playable by anybody who is under the large area of bell curve in regards to physical abilities, with the addition of appropriate training. The acquisition of any sophisticated skill set such as dancing or musical performance involves hierarchical bio-mechanical and psycho-physical processes. This is not mechanical, it is about becoming more human.
