Marshall Vandruff is the undisputed master of Perspective with a capital P, and he’s funny too!

Perspective and funny are two words you rarely see in one sentence.

Some years back I had worked through his perspective course.

This course is a series of video taped lectures in which Marshall demonstrates with chalk and blackboard how to draw in perspective.

It costs quite literally a few bucks. Get it and draw along with at least the first two or three (there are 12 in total). Guaranteed, it will change your drawing life!

In 2025, as I refresh my figure drawing skills, which means going back to basics, I came across his Bridgman Drawing Bootcamp, and after testing the water a little decided to plunge in.

Depending how I go with the Bridgman and other figure courses below I may come back in a sense and do the "all the modern bells and whistles" version he released a couple of years back with the 3D modelling, animation and general production skills of Proko added. It looks great!

Talented, hard working and entrepeneurial Stan Prokopenko has built a huge online art education eco-system. Kids today never had it so easy due to the hard work of Mr. Prokopenko and the like.

This is definetely on my to-do list, recommended as it was by none less than Mr. Vandruff.
